Advocates Against Hunger has as their purpose:

 

To promote community dialogue on hunger and nutrition in the Norristown area with the purpose of sustaining and improving delivery of food and nutrition to the poor, educating the community, increasing participation of volunteer population and increasing resources.

 

This goal was developed to address whether the larger community could work together to better plan and provide for the needs of the poor and homeless in Norristown and Montgomery County.
